GSTAT Issues Dress Code Mandate: No Casuals in Tribunal Hearings

The GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, has announced a dress code for its Hon’ble President and Members while conducting the court proceedings. The Dress Code is as follows:

  • The Hon’ble President and Hon’ble Members, judicial, are required to follow the dress code prescribed for judges of the Hon’ble Supreme Court or Hon’ble High Court, without the gown.
  • The Male Technical Members are required to wear white, striped, or black trousers with a black coat over a white shirt and black necktie or a buttoned-up black coat.
  • The female Technical Members are required to wear a black overcoat over a black, white, or lightly printed saree.
  • The Turban-wearing members are required to wear a white or light-coloured turban.
